Peripheral T-cell Lymphomas
T-cell Lymphoma Classification
Peripheral T-cell lymphomas are tumours of T-cells that have completed differentiation in the thymus. They are much less common than B-cell lymphomas; this may be a reflection of the complex process of gene rearrangement and mutation that B-cells undergo in the germinal centre of lymph nodes.
Peripheral T-cell lymphomas are a very diverse group encompassing a wide range of clinical presentations. There are three broad clinical groups:
